Tumor Board

As part of our multidisciplinary expert care, we hold numerous Tumor Board meetings each week to discuss the treatment of individual cancer patients entering our programs. Specialists from every area of care—body, mind and spirit—are present to discuss all details of patient care. Those in attendance include surgical oncologists, general surgeons, neurosurgeons, gynecologic oncologists, thoracic surgeons, medical oncologists, pulmonary medicine specialists, radiation oncologists, nutritionists, nurses, pathologists, radiologists, urologists and cancer care specialists. It is the interaction between these specialists that allows us to make personalized treatment plans for each patient. Our multidisciplinary approach offers highly comprehensive, coordinated cancer care for even the most complex cancers.
